English summary on page 14 as follows: so far more than 50 sites of Phung Nguyen culture have been discovered and studied. A large number of sites and artifacts made of stone, pottery, bone, horns have confirmed the existence and development of an archaeological culture of the Metal Agein the Red river valley. For more than 40 years, apart from the study of the Phung Nguyen Culture on the aspects of distribution, stages of development and characteristics of sites, the archaeologists have studied the relationship between Phung Nguyen and other contemporary cultures in the country and abroad, confirming the local origin of the Phung Nguyen Culture and its role in the evolved process to the Dong Son Culture.
