Abstract: The nineteen sites surveyed are located on a range of hills on the west side of the Nan River basin. They yielded only lithic assemblages and were, for the most part, stone tool manufacturing areas. They showed the marks of different stages of stone tool manufacture amongst which many axes and adzes were found. The associated settlements, which are likely to be in the valley, have not yet been discovered.
