Abstract: English summary on page 94 as follows: In the first stage (about the 4th century to early 5th century), Champa buddhist statues had clear characteristics of Indian tradition. In the later stage (from the 7th century to the 9th an 10th centuries) Champa buddhist statues having anthropological characteristics: big eyes, thick eyebrows, large mouths, thick lips... Buddhist statues of Champa seem to reflect powerful persons. This is one of the characteristics of Champa buddhism: the combination of God power and King power.
