Abstract: English summary on page 38 as follows: The article reviews the discoveries and studies of the Prehistoric Archaeology in the Central Highlands from the late 19th century to the end of 1998 and initially shows the distinguished characteristics of the sites and artifacts in the Late Neolithic and Early metal Age in the area. more than 40sites are all located nearly places where there is water source even in the six-month dry season. The cultural layers of the site are very thin and show only one stage of development. The characteristics of the stone tool collection are not a lot of various types and the absence of stone tools involved in hunting. The tool-kit consists of hoes, axes, adzes with the lengths of 5cm upwards, rarely found those with the length under 4cm. There are two distributive areas of shouldered and quadrangular axes and adzes.
