Abstract: |
The soil map of Buri Rum Province indicates that there are five different Quaternary and Recent surfaces which are covered by their own characteristic soils. The Echi river basin of central Japan has six geomorphologic units which have their corresponding soils. This paper describes the geomorphology and soils of the two areas and further proposes a correlation between the two.
