Abstract: This bas-relief was moved from Da Nang in 1931 and was considered a part of the pedestal of altar of the main stupa of Tra Kieu. This bas-relief is 0.9 long
0.36m wide
0.50 high. In its middle is engraved standing human figure, with only one left leg. At both sides of him are 2 horses. In the middle of the altar is the figure Kala, at the both sides are Makara's heads holding a deer (or goat) in the mouth. The outside is a lion's head. This is a famous decorative pattern of the style of Tra Kieu, but on it appeared motifs of the following stage of Binh Dinh style of Cham art. This bas-relief may be dated about the late 10th century.
