Abstract:	What is "Falang"? Where and when did it appear? There have been different opinions about it. However, Falang in Hue appeared at the beginning of the 19th century under the three dynasties of Nguyen Kings: Minh Mang, Thieu Tri and Tu Duc. Hue Falang has a lot of types concentrating on 3 main groups: - Falang used in exterior decorations - Falang used in interior decorations - Falang used in cult and household instruments
