Abstract: The burial site of Go Thap was excavated in May-June 1993. Monuments and features unearthed consisted of six Oc Eo-type cremation burials in brick, including three tombs with surrounding walls and three tombs without walls. All the tombs were built in the form of a quadrilateral block amidst a square grave pit. Mortuary goods consisted of gold artefacts (230 gold leaves), precious stones and beads. The gold leaves are decorated with Hindu motifs. The burials date from the 5th-6th century AD.
