Archana Upadhyay*

Archana Upadhyay graduated from the College after studying History, with a concentration in World History. As part of the Penn & Slavery Project since Fall 2018, her research has centered around Penn's early medical school and the Wistar and Horner collection of anatomical specimens. Outside of Penn & Slavery, her main research focuses are global abolitionism and the modern Mediterranean. She currently serves as co-chair of the Penn History Student Society and the History Undergraduate Advisory Board.
