3D Models
There are two 3D models to view on this page. Both were made with photogrammetry and software called Agisoft Photoscan, which stitches together many photographs of the bronzes at all different angles. Click on the names of the models to see more; then click on the play button to manipulate the 3D models and see the bronzes from any angle.
The first model is of a brazier, a relatively small piece of furniture that would have been used to heat a room. The brazier measures 21 centimeters by 36 centimeters by 29 centimeters, and was originally found at Herculaneum. See https://www.penn.museum/collections/object/20030 for more information on this object.
The second model is a small statue of a winged victory. The statue is 73 centimeters tall and 34 centimeters wide and was originally found at Pompeii. See https://www.penn.museum/collections/object/207527 for more information on this object.
