Abstract: English summary on page 32 as follows: Basing on pollen analysing of the deposits dating from the Late Pleistocene and the Early Holocene at Phong Chau (Vinh Phu province), the author states that: The Late Pleistocene flora was a subtropical complex. in which ferns make up 20% and plants of Angiospermae cosist of evergreen ones. The flora of the Early Holocene was a tropical - subtropical complex, in which tropical plants were more abundant. In this area, there were no sea and sea coast floral remains.
