Abstract: English summary on page 83 as follows: The Kashana period marked an important epoch in Indian history. Embracing nearly the whole of North India and considerable territories outside it, the Kushanas brought India into close contact with the outside world. The period also witnessed important development in religion literature and sculpture, especially the rice of Gandhara art, Mahayana Buddhism and the appearance of the Buddha figure. These cultural achievements marked their impact not only to Indian culture but alos others, including Vietnam in the early centuries of Christiona era. The present paper aims at drawing a part of this cultural context that influenced one of the Vietnamese cultures - the Oc Eo Culture.
