Ancient demography of Vietnamese Southeast Asia has not been concerned to study. From the study of prehistoric demography of Vietnam, the author states that achaeology can approach the problems of ancient demography such as distribution, density, households, acceleration, ages, sexes, the rate of dependent age...by coordination of archaeology, paleoanthropology, ethnology, demography as well as by measures of ration of geometric progression, exponent function... This approach enables us to see the regulations of motion and development of population in the interaction with natural and social factors in the past.
