Abstract: From this cave, abundant faunal remains with numerous bone tools have been recovered. The study of the animal bones, pollens, and sediments has provided us with much information on environmental and ecological conditions during the Upper Pleistocene period in Korea. Bone fragments, ash, charcoal and burnt limestone debris all contain information on the behaviour of early humans and their adaptations to ecological conditions.
